I am a student of life, and I love learning more about myself and I am so Happy now :) Over a period of 10 days I ate the following High blood sugary processed crap filled foods, that I normally would not eat while living my low carb lifestyle. 1: Mashed potatoes/gravy=STARCH-SUGAR 2. Corn=STARCH-SUGAR 3. Bun(hamburger bun)=FLOUR-SUGAR 4. Pasta salad=SUGAR 5. FLOUR-Breaded Fried Fish & Chips 6. FLOUR-Breaded Fried Chicken 7. Raspberry Sorbet=SUGAR 8. Chocolate Birthday cake=SUGAR 9. Donuts=SUGAR 10.FRITO'S=MY #1 WEAKNESS (that week) The number of things I did experience while going off a low carb plan for approximately 10 day Were the following: 1. My face, back and scalp broke out, yes acne at my age 52 Acne article www.drbriffa.com 2. I noticed my hair seem to be falling out, my scalp was drier than normal. 3. Swelling in my fingers, feet and ankles 3. Bloating/ Fatigue/Hot Flashes 4. Sinus Problems/Headache 5. That haunted sense of hunger all the time,and the Mental cravings. I am my own experiment. Sugars deteriorates my body, foods that are lower in carbohydrates and high in nutrients are my lifetime fuel. I don't blame the sugar, but I have the proof now, that its not worth it, my skin means the world to me, and having a break out like I did really showed me, that the longest I have ever gone off my food plan(10 days) took a tole on my physical and mental health ...
